1 EGG
3 TEASPOONS GROUND GINGER
380G PLAIN FLOUR
1 LEVEL TEASPOON BICARBONATE SODA
120G BUTTER
180G LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
5 TABLESPOONS GOLDEN SYRUP

RECIPE

1.HEAT THE OVEN TO 180° FAN
MIX THE FLOUR, BICARBONATE SODA AND GINGER IN A BOWL AND ADD IN THE BUTTER AND RUB TOGETHER TO MAKE A BREADCRUMB TEXTURE

2. ADD IN THE SUGAR AND MIX AND THEN ADD IN THE SYRUP AND EGG AND MIX, USE YOUR HANDS TO BIND IT INTO A BALL OF DOUGH

3.ON TO A FLOURED SURFACE ROLL OUT THE DOUGH AND USING YOUR CHOICE OF CUTTERS, CUT OUT THE SHAPES. ADD THEM TO BAKING TRAYS LINED WITH BAKING PAPER

4. BAKE THEM FOR NO LONGER THAN 10 MINUTES FOR A SOFT GINGERBREAD
