A YUMMY CHOCOLATE TREAT! SCRUMPTIOUS CHOCOLATE BROWNIE TOPPED WITH HEAVENLY CHOCOLATE ORANGE…ONE FOR THE CHOCOLATE LOVERS



INGREDIENTS
100g BUTTER
4 EGGS
100g PLAIN FLOUR
1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
200g DARK CHOCOLATE
250g CASTER SUGAR
30g COCOA POWDER
1 ORANGE ZESTED
1 CHOCOLATE ORANGE
RECIPE
1.HEAT THE OVEN TO 180°
IN ONE BOWL MELT THE BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE
2. IN ANOTHER BOWL MIX EGGS AND SUGAR
3.IN ANOTHER BOWL MIX ALL THE DRY INGREDIENTS (FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, COCOA POWDER, ORANGE ZEST)
4.ADD THE MELTED CHOCOLATE AND BUTTER TO THE EGG MIXTURE AND MIX WELL AND THEN ADD THAT MIXTURE TO THE DRY MIXTURE AND MIX THOROUGHLY
5. POUR THE MIXTURE INTO A LINED BAKING TIN (I USED A DEEP BAKING TRAY) BAKE ON 180° FOR 30-40 MINUTES (TO CHECK ITS COOKED, STICK A SKEWER INTO THE CAKE AND WHEN NO MIXTURE STICKS IT’S READY)
6. LEAVE THE BROWNIE TO REST FOR 5 MINUTES AND THEN REMOVE FROM THE TIN AND LEAVE TO COOL FOR 30 MINUTES. NOW ADD THE CHOCOLATE ORANGE SEGMENTS THE TOP WHILE STILL SLIGHTLY WARM SO THEY STICK AND CUT THEM INTO SQUARES
