I HAD A HOMEGROWN COURGETTE TO USE SO I MADE ONE OF MY EASY GO TO DISHES THAT IS SUPER TASTY, HEALTHY AND QUICK
HOW GOOD IS MY COURGETTE FOR A BEGINNER GROWER!!
I AM SO IMPRESSED IT DESERVED A SELFIE!



INGREDIENTS
SERVES 2 PEOPLE
1 COURGETTE
1 RED CHILLI
BUTTER
TAGLIATELLE (1 LARGE NEST PER PERSON)
2 CLOVES OF GARLIC
READY COOKED PRAWNS
CHIVES (OPTIONAL)
RECIPE
FIRST
IF YOU HAVE A SPIRALIZER THEN USE THIS TO SPIRAL YOUR COURGETTE INTO SPAGHETTI. IF YOU DON’T HAVE ONE THEN YOU CAN CUT YOUR COURGETTE INTO THIN STRIPS AS POSSIBLE. I PREFER TO TAKE THE SKIN OFF MINE BUT WHICHEVER YOU PREFER!

THEN
FINELY CHOP YOUR CHILLI AND GARLIC
NOW
IN A PAN OF BOILING WATER START TO COOK THE TAGLIATELLE WHICH WILL TAKE APPRPOX 15-20 MINUTES
AFTER 10 MINUTES OF COOKING THE TAGLIATELLE IN A FRYING PAN
ADD A LARGE TABLESPOON OF BUTTER TO THE PAN ALONG WITH THE COURGETTE, CHILLI AND GARLIC AND ALLOW TO COOK FOR 5 MINUTES
NOW
ADD ANOTHER DOLLOP OF BUTTER ALONG WITH THE PRAWNS AND COOK FOR A FURTHER 5 MINUTES
DISH UP
DRAIN OFF THE TAGLIATELLE AND ADD TO THE SERVING BOWLS AND THEN POUR OVER THE PRAWN COURGETTI. SPRINKLE OVER SOME CHOPPED CHIVES TO FINISH AND ENJOY!
